Don Jazzy has lost her mother to the cold hands of death.
Nigerian music producer and CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy has taken to social media to announce the death of his mother who was battling cancer.

In a post shared on his Instagram page on Friday night, July 22, 2022, the music mogul described his mother as “the matriarch” of the family who was his “supporter and backbone”, stressing that her demise has left him “beyond devastated”.
Don Jazzy, who also noted that his mother’s death has left him with unimaginable pain, said she has been battling cancer – although he didn’t reveal if that was the cause of her death.
He wrote, “I lost my sweet mother this morning. The matriarch of the family. My supporter and backbone.
“I’m beyond devastated. I have never felt pain like this in my life but I’m consoled by the good life she lived. She was lived by everyone that ever met her.
“She was so strong till the last minute for us even while she battled with cancer. I have never typed a note difficult caption in my life.
“Please for our mum’s soul to rest in peace and for strength for my dad, my siblings, her grandchildren and our entire family to bear this loss.”
