A renowned Senegalese witch doctor has predicted that the Lions of Terenga will be the winner of the 33rd edition of the TotalEmegies African Cup of Nations due to kick-off in Cameroon on January 9, 2022.
The famous witch doctor who failed to reveal his identity on a Twitter page, said it is time for Head Coach Aliou Cisse and his boys to finally grab the AFCON trophy after missing out in 2019.
For many football pundits, Senegalese fans, Sadio Mane, Edouard Mendy and mates are tipped as favourites for the forthcoming AFCON among the likes of Algeria, Morocco, Cameroon and Ivory Coast.
Interestingly, the Senegal national football team were expected to camp in Rwanda from December 31, cancelled the trip opting to remain at home before hitting Cameroon for the tourney.
Local-based squad member are due in camp this week ahead of the continental showpiece.
But their foreign counterpart are expected to join them in camp by January 3, seven days before the first game of AFCON 2021.
Senegal are paired alongside Guinea, Malawi and Zimbabwe in Group B.
The Teranga Lions commence hostilities on January 10 against Zimbabwe, before trading tackles with Guinea four days later and Malawi on January 18.
