I Asked Them to Collect The Blood of All My Band Members and Staffs, Paid N6 Million For Test – K1 De Ultimate

 Fuji music legend, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 de Ultimate, has opened up on the recent controversy involving a former band member, Ayanlowo, who accused him of collecting his blood sample under questionable circumstances.

Speaking in an interview on Agbaletu Radiovision, the veteran artiste addressed the issue, describing it as a misunderstanding of a goodwill gesture.

K1 de Ultimate revealed that he had ordered a comprehensive medical check-up for all members of his band and other staff involved in his business operations. He stated that the initiative was a personal effort to ensure the wellbeing of those around him, and he bore the entire financial burden of the process, which cost him N6 million.

The music icon explained that while he authorized the medical team to carry out the tests, he was not personally involved in collecting samples or administering any part of the process. He emphasized that the tests were conducted by professionals and were meant for health purposes only.

The accusation by Ayanlowo, who alleged that his blood was collected without proper explanation, appears to have sparked the need for K1 to clarify his intentions.

Despite the incident, K1 expressed no bitterness toward Ayanlowo, maintaining that he still holds no grudge and that forgiveness remains a guiding principle for him. He also pointed out that he played a significant role in shaping Ayanlowo’s identity in the music scene, having given him the name he now bears.

His words: "Why would my band member (Ayanlowo) lie against me that I collected his blood sample and he did not know what they wanted to use it for? Was I the one that collected it (blood sample)? I only did a good gesture by calling the medicals. I asked them to collect the blood sample of all my band members and staffs for general test. After that, I paid N6 million for the test."
