Since I Left Christianity For Islam, Things Have Been Hard For Me

 Mercy Aigbe, the popular Yoruba actress, opened up about her conversion from Christianity to Islam following her marriage to a Muslim man. 

In a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV on YouTube, she discussed the difficulties she has faced since making the switch, especially the challenge of performing the five daily prayers, which she finds tough to keep up with.

She explained, "I’m someone who is very determined, and once I make up my mind about something, I go all in, no matter the opinions of others. My husband didn’t

force me into Islam; he is very tolerant. He was a Muslim when we met, and I was a Christian. After some reflection, I realized that converting to Islam would bring me closer to him. I believe Muslims and Christians worship the same God, which made the decision easier for me. However, it has been difficult, particularly with the daily prayers. I sometimes struggle to complete all five of them."
