A man whose wife is pregnant should have nothing less than N5M in his account - Nigerian doctor says

 

A Nigerian doctor, Ada Ujaligwa has advised married men whose wives are pregnant, to have at least N5m in preparation for the birth. 

 

She also advised married women seeking to get pregnant to have at least N1m. "As a marry woman who wants to get pregnant, let there be at least 1M in your savings account that you will not touch. As a married man whose wife is pregnant, have nothing less than 5M in your savings account in preparation for the birth," she wrote.

 

"How can you be so dependent on your husband financially that if he refuses to pay for your Caesarian section you will be stranded. How can you leave yourself at his mercy. From before you even get pregnant, hold the money for any kind of delivery gidigbam,"she added.
