Napoli Sets January Transfer Fee for Osimhen, Excludes Italian Clubs
Napoli has reportedly set a transfer fee for star striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the January transfer window, with interest from Galatasaray. The club has valued the Nigerian international at approximately €100 million. However, this fee applies only to foreign clubs, as Napoli intends to retain Osimhen for the remainder of the season against rivals in Serie A.
Osimhen has been in exceptional form, contributing significantly to Napoli’s title ambitions. With Galatasaray keen to bolster their squad, the Turkish giants face a substantial challenge in meeting Napoli’s demands, particularly under the stipulation that Italian teams are excluded from negotiations.
As the January transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Osimhen, who has attracted attention from top European clubs. Napoli remains firm on their stance, hoping to secure a lucrative deal while maintaining their competitive edge domestically.
Osimhen’s immediate future is uncertain. In January, by paying around 90 million he can already leave Turkey, thanks to the clause, but only for a non-Italian club. In June he will cost a little less because there will be no severance pay to be paid to Galatasaray. Napoli boasts a unilateral option to keep him until 2027”.
