EPL Top Scorer Table After Leandro Trossard and Cole Palmer scored to close in on Erling Haaland

Leandro Trossard put last week’s red card behind him, netting twice as Arsenal claimed a dramatic 4-2 victory over Leicester City in a gripping Premier League encounter on Saturday.

The Belgian forward coolly slotted home in first-half stoppage time, doubling Arsenal’s lead and raising hopes of a dominant win.

At that point, the Gunners appeared set for a comfortable afternoon and were even in contention to surpass Manchester City in the league standings.

However, Leicester came roaring back in the second half. James Justin stunned the home side with a brace that leveled the match at 2-2.

Arsenal, who had controlled much of the game, suddenly found themselves fighting to avoid a collapse.

Relentless pressure from Arsenal followed as they searched for a decisive goal.

Their persistence paid off in the dying minutes of stoppage time when Trossard connected with a cross from Bukayo Saka to restore their lead at 3-2. In a final twist, Kai Havertz sealed the victory with a late strike, securing all three points for Arsenal.

The win leaves Arsenal tied with Manchester City on 14 points after six games, as City had drawn earlier in the day at Newcastle United.
