How I derived my stage name from Chinese film – Singer, Shallipopi (Video)

Sensational Nigerian musician, Crown Uzama has revealed that his stage name “Shallipopi” was inspired by an old Chinese movie.

He made this known in a recent interview with British media personality, Madame Joyce, noting that he got the idea for his name from the 1994 Chinese kung fu comedy film, Shaolin Popey.

Shallipopi said he attempted using his birth name, Crown, and nicknames like ‘Drip Face’ as stage name before finally settling for the one he currently uses.
