Final EPL Table after Boxing Day fixtures as Man Utd move into top six & Chelsea drop to 11th place

Rasmus Hojlund scored the winner as Manchester United overturned a two-goal dificit to defeat Aston Villa by 3 goals to 2 at Old Trafford. The win propelled Erik Ten Hag’s sideto 6th position on the English Premier League Table with 31 points from 19 games.

Liverpool also secured a win over Vincent Kompany’s side on Boxing Day. The Reds secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Burnley to go top of the League.


In other games, Bournemouth defeated Fulham by 3 goals to nil to leapfrog Chelsea and move into 10th position, Nottingham Forest came from a goal down to defeat Newcastle United 3-1 at St James Park while Luton Town defeated Sheffield United by 3 goals to 2.


As it stands, Liverpool are currently leading with 42 points followed by Arsenal in second position with 40 points. Unai Emery’s side could have moved to second position with a win over the Red Devils but they are currently ranked third on the log
