‘Some traditional rites were performed to bring me back to life and it took 3 days’ – Singer, Oladips

Popular Nigerian Rapper, Singer and Songwriter, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji known professionally as Oladips was on Naija FM recently and he spoke about the incident that took place some couple of weeks back.

Recall that few weeks ago, the whole world was thrown into deep shock when the sad news of the sudden demise of Oladips surfaced online. But fortunately, few days later, we found out that the singer was unconscious and not dead as reported by the media.



During his recent interview on Naija FM, the talented singer revealed that he was unconscious for three days and that some traditional rites were performed to bring him back to life.

“In his words”

“I wasn’t taken to the hospital, they told me that I was unconscious and that they were slapping my face and chest but I didn’t respond, so in their mind they thought I was dead”.

“My mom warned my friends who were with me not to take me to the hospital, so many things dey happen online do you understand. I regained consciousness after three days, I was taken to a hospital but not the regular hospital, I’m a confirm Ibile and everybody knows that”.

“Some traditional rites were performed to bring me back to life and it took three days. My mom went as far as possible to bring me back to life”, Oladips said and it stirred massive reactions from the general public. Click on the link below to watch the video.
