Ex-Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama reacts after seeing a street named after him in Akwa Ibom



Former Nigerian and Lille legendary shot-stopper, Vincent Enyeama has taken to social media to react after seeing a street in Akwa Ibom State named after him.

Responding to the street in Awka Ibom State named in his honor, the ex-Nigerian goalkeeper posted a video on his Instagram story, along with captions inviting people to Uyo for year-end celebrations.

Vincent Enyeama, aged 41, played in 101 matches for the Nigerian Super Eagles from 2002 to 2015. He participated in three FIFA World Cup tournaments and served as the deputy captain when the team clinched the 2013 African Cup of Nations championship for Nigeria.



During his active career, he achieved the status of Nigeria’s highest-capped international footballer by participating in 101 matches for the national team before retiring in 2015.
