The hero of Napoli, Victor Osimhen, has explained how the birth of his daughter changed his luck.
Superstar Victor Osimhen of Nigeria has talked about how having a daughter has changed his life both on and off the field.
The Napoli striker attributes his motivation for becoming the top scorer in Serie A last year to the arrival of his daughter Haley, whom he welcomed into the world in October 2022.
Osimhen said, “I think extremely well,” in response to a question on how having a child for the first time affected him while appearing on the ObiOne podcast, which is hosted by former Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi. I have never before had a child. I experienced an overpowering feeling upon hearing the news. I had anticipated a lengthy process, but God simply gave me her.
The Napoli forward added that his daughter returned harmony to his home the moment she was born, despite experiencing some personal hardship. “Amid this good news, I was having a very big challenge relating to some of my family members,” he remarked about the birth of his daughter.
Therefore, before my girl revealed that she was pregnant, there was a serious issue at that time. I was quite prepared, and this provided me with some comfort as I dealt with the challenges of life and some of my family members.”
“This child holds special meaning for me because, just before his girlfriend revealed her pregnancy to me, things were a little gloomy. God gave her some peace to bring to me during her pregnancy.”
