MNU 0-3 MNC: 2 players responsible for Man United’s loss to Man City at home

Manchester United lost the battle in the Manchester derby this evening as they were thrashed 3-0 by Manchester City at the Old Trafford Stadium. Norwegian International, Erling Haaland was the hero for Man City, as he scored twice from a penalty and a header alongside providing an assist to inspire his side to a comfortable win. The red devils didn’t play badly in this fixture, but they failed to neutralize Man City’s threat which was Haaland.

Well, below are two players that were responsible for Manchester United’s embarrassing defeat at Old Trafford ;

Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire.

Rashford has been terrible for Man United this season and today he clearly showed fans why he needs to be benched henceforth. He failed to create any goal scoring opportunity for his side, alongside failing to cause any threat on the attack. Maguire on the other hand was caught unaware several times as he failed to mark Haaland which eventually led to his side conceding three unwanted goals.
