Why I stopped shooting music videos for Asake - TG Omori

Popular Nigerian music video director, ThankGod Omori Jesam better known as TG Omori has spoken on his business deal with singer Asake.

The collaboration between TG Omori and Asake began last year with the hit single “Organize”. Their synergy was evident, and the music video’s creativity set a new benchmark in the industry. Over time, the duo worked on several projects, each outdoing the previous one in terms of innovation and visuals.

However, rumor grew when Asake used different directors for his latest music videos. Many speculated that “terminator” crooner was angry with TG after his last project “YOGA” did not get enough attention like his other videos.

However, boy director cleared the air in a podcast, Zero condition. he emphasized the mutual respect he and Asake still hold for one another.

He said that Olamide, the musician and CEO of YBNL record label, believes in giving people opportunities, and it would be unjust to hold that against him.

According to him, he and Asake are taking a break from working together as they have done about 10-12 music videos.
