Julian Nagelsmann wants Thierry Henry as his assistant coach at PSG — The Telegraph

Julian Nagelsmann seems poised to take over at Paris Saint-Germain soon.

The French club are very likely to sack Christophe Galtier despite winning the league. It’s considered par for the course at PSG and they also won it in one of the most unspectacular fashions.

Anyway, back to Nagelsmann. According to Matt Law from The Telegraph, the German coach wants to see Thierry Henryas one of his assistants.

The two have no prior link but it’s believed that Henry’s presence would be welcomed by Kylian Mbappe and would give Nagelsmann’s coaching team a ‘French flavour’.

Most recently, Henry was part of Belgium coaching team at the World Cup in Qatar. He had a brief stint as a head coach at AS Monaco in the 2018-19 season but it went poorly and didn’t last long.

It’s not clear what Henry thinks about it but regardless, nothing is done yet between PSG and Nagelsmann.
