“If NLC Comes Out On The Street For Any Protest, They Will Definitely Meet Us There” – Asari Dokubo

Asari Dokubo went live on Facebook to react after the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) made it known that they will commence a nationwide strike because of fuel subsidy removal.

Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “I want to make it clear that if the NLC Comes out on the street for any protest, they will definitely meet us there.” He added, “the current leadership of the NLC is partisan. The Peter Gregory Obi they are supporting even made it clear that he will remove fuel subsidy should he win the presidential election.”

Speaking further, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “the NLC should know that the people’s train is already on the street too. Those of us who voted for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the presidential election will be there for them.”

Again, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo said, “I sense that the NLC wants to bring a backyard revolution and we will not allow that happen. When labour party saw us in Abuja, they could no longer step out like they did disturbing the court.”

Lastly, the Kalabari kingdom’s chief said, “the current leader of the Nigerian Labour Congress supported Peter Obi and now he wants to use the platform of the people to fight for his personal interest. My concern now is that regarding fuel subsidy, labour congress has no right to strike. The subsidy was removed in the interest of Nigerians.”
