The Nigerian police force has arrested a woman, Akudo Azoroh, who operates ababy factory where babies are born and sold in Aluu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state Rivers State.
During interrogation, Akudo Azoroh, confessed that after the babies has been delivered, she sell the baby boys for as much as N1.5 million, while the baby girls are sold for N1.4 million.
Akudo Azoroh confessed that the babies are sold to people who does not have their own children. Akudo Azoroh went on to say that she does not bring the men that impregnates the girls, rather, the girls willingly comes to her baby factory.
It is important to note that the police were able to rescue six pregnant women from the baby factory. Akudo Azoroh confessed that she pays the girls that deliver the babies between N350,000 to N900,000, depending on the time the pregnant girl came to the baby factory and the gender of the child.
