In a recent interview on BBC News Pidgin, Governor Nyesom Wike spoke about the possibility of being appointed under the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The outgoing Rivers state’s Governor said, “as for now, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is yet to give me an appointment. I cannot say I am too big to serve Nigeria if appointed by him.”
Speaking further, Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike said, “regarding my next move when I leave office, I intend going to rest because I have done my best. I deserve some rest.”
Again, Governor Nyesom Wike said, “if Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu even says he wants to appoint me, I will have to inform not only my wife but also my friends to determine if I will take it or not. Also, I will check how prepared I am for the appointment.”
