Buhari’s Government : Eight Appointees Who Spent 8 Years With President Buhari

 

 

It is an obvious fact that whatever that has a beginning must have an ending, President Muhammadu Buhari’s eight-year tenure in office is expected to come to an end by May 29, 2023, and the incoming President, President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu will take over the mantle of leadership from the outgoing Nigeria’s President.

 

 

Meanwhile, according to Daily Post, from the beginning of the eight-year administration of General Muhammadu Buhari (RTD) as the executive and democratically elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to the end, eight of his appointees who started with him on may 29, 2015, are still with him till end of his tenure on May 29, 2023.

The following are the names and portfolios of the eight appointees who spent good eight years with President Muhammadu Buhari in office:

1. Femi Adesina – Special Adviser, Media and Publicity.

2. Hameed Ali – Controller-General, Nigerian Customs Service.

3. Garba Shehu -Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity.

4. Lawal Kazaure – Chief Protocol Officer.

5. Babagana Monguno – National Security Adviser.

6. Bashir Ahmad – Personal Assistant on New Media/Special Assistant on Digital Communication.

7. Tolu Ogunlesi – Special Assistant on New Media.

8. Abike Dabiri-Erewa – Senior Special Assistant Diaspora Commission/ DG NDCOM.
