Video: The Moment President-elect Bola Tinubu Returned To Nigeria After Spending Weeks In France

The president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has returned to Nigeria after spending about four weeks in Paris, France.


Tinubu, who won the 2023 presidential election conducted on February 25, left Nigeria for France after the gubernatorial election. 

According to his media team, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate went to relax after a long campaign season.

It was also said that the president-elect will perform Umrah in Mecca, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during the month of Ramadan. However, Tinubu was not seen in Mecca during the just-concluded month of Ramadan.

However, Tinubu returned to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Monday afternoon. Tinubu returned with his wife and his personal aides.

The incoming president was received by many prominent members of his party.

Some of them include, the vice president-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima; the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; and the governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong.
