Eduardo Camavinga has undergone an unbelievable body transformation at Real Madrid

French starlet Eduardo Camavinga has been one of football’s most exciting prospects since bursting onto the scene for Rennes as a 16-year-old and since joining Real Madrid in 2021, he has been undergoing a body transformation.

The now 20-year-old Camavinga is in his second season at Real Madrid, having made 38 appearances in all comps across a variety of positions thus far.

Signed for just over £34 million in 2021, the young French star has fit in seamlessly to Real Madrid’s starting XI, playing a big part in their 14th European Cup win last season.

However, there has always been a concern over his lack of physicality as a midfielder and it is very evident now that Camavinga has matured physically.

There has never been any question over his technical ability though, as several European clubs were vying for his signature before he joined Los Blancos.

The improvement in his physicality cannot be disputed, as new photos have been released online that show the ex-Rennes man being hard at work in the gym.

The midfielder recently spoke about the work that he does with his personal trainer.

“As I have a physical trainer and now I play a bit more, we vary our sessions,” He told RMC.

“I told him that I had a tendency in the support runs that wasn’t necessarily the best, and so we worked on that. In particular, we worked on liveliness, with mental things at the same time to work on the senses.

“We worked on the senses to improve reactivity. Also to process information. In the midfield, players come from everywhere.”

Camavinga is set to play a huge role in Real Madrid’s season yet, as despite the fact Los Blancos are 13 points behind league leaders Barcelona, they are still in the hunt to win their record 15th Champions League title.

Real Madrid will play the second leg of their tie against Chelsea on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge, having won the first leg 2-0 at home with Benzema and Asensio scoring.
