Orji Kalu Got 47,000 Votes To Come Back To The Senate But Got Only 8,000 Votes For Tinubu – Garba

A Former Member of the House of Representatives, Adamu Garba, has disclosed that he believes that members of the All Progressives Congress in the South-East has not done enough to give them the right to demand that the office of the Senate President should come to the South-East.

According to Adamu Garba, during the 2023 general elections, Orji Uzor Kalu of the APC got 47,000 votes in Abia State Senatorial District Election which got him back to the Senate. However, APC only got 8,000 votes in presidential election in the entire Abia State.

Adamu Garba was of the opinion that Orji Uzor Kalu should not be asking APC to make him the senate president because he only worked hard to get 47,000 votes for his Senatorial ambition, but could not get an equivalent vote for Bola Tinubu in Abia State.

Adamu Garba went on to say that senators from Kano State should be considered for the position of the senate president so that APC can win back Kano State in coming elections.
