What Tinubu Told Us When He First Heard That Peter Obi Won In Lagos – Oyalowo

Ayo Oyalowo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) spoke during an interview on Channels Television.

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ayo Oyalowo has revealed what Bola Tinubu did after hearing that the party lost Lagos state during the 2023 presidential election.

Oyalowo said Tinubu on hearing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi winner of Lagos state in the February 25, presidential election, urged his people to carry on with their activities.

Speaking during an interview with Channels Television on Friday, Mr. Oyalowo said;

“Before the final results were revealed, Tinubu learned that our party had lost Lagos state, and I recall what he said. We lost it, he replied, so let’s go on, it’s not a big deal. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a democrat, and he is aware that politics is a game of winning and losing. You may recall that in 2011, when we established ACN, this man graciously gave someone the opportunity to run for office. We also recall that in 2007, when President Obasanjo sought to do everything in his power to degrade his deputy, we all knew what happened.”
