Ancelotti set to make three 'major changes' for El Clasico – Carvajal will start

Carlo Ancelotti is ready to make three big changes to the Real Madrid Starting XI for the Copa Del Rey semi-final second leg against Barcelona on Wednesday.

As per AS, the Italian gaffer will bring Fede Valverde back into the lineup after he was rested against Real Valladolid.

Similarly, Luka Modric is also going to start in the crucial derby.

Dani Carvajal is set to make a return to the team, replacing Lucas Vazquez at right-back.

This is even after Vazquez’s impressive performance against Valladolid, in which he managed to score as well.

Madrid suffered a 1-0 loss to Barca in the first leg of the semi-final. They’ll need to win 2-0 to clinch the tie in 90 minutes, with a 1-0 win only being enough to force extra time and potential penalty shootout.
