Why Bayern Boss Thomas Tuchel Wears Red Ribbon Called Kautuka on His Arm Since Returning From India

Thomas Tuchel began his era as manager of Bayern Munich with a statement victory against Borussia Dortmund on April Fool’s Day, April 1, 2023.

Tuchel masterminded a landslide 4-2 victory against his former side in the German version of the El Clasico – Der Klassiker – helping Bayern reclaim the top spot in the Bundesliga.

Nonetheless, a red ribbon, called Kautuka, on his arm has pricked the interest of social media users, who are curious about why the 49-year-old wears a red ribbon on his arm ever since returning from his Aryuvedic treatment in Kerala, India.

At Tuchel’s unveiling, he was spotted with a small red thread on his sleeve during his introduction as the new head coach of Bayern Munich.
