It’s no longer a news that Bayern Munich has appointed Former Chelsea Boss Thomas Tuchel as replacement for Julian Nagelsmann. The German Gaffer was quite busy on Saturday as he was introduced as Bayern Munich Boss. He also visited Bayern Munich’s dressing room on Saturday.
When Thomas Tuchel entered the dressing room of the German club for the first time, the German Gaffer had a special interest in Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s Shirt. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has been impressive for Bayern Munich since Robert Lewandowski left for Barcelona last summer but, he’s still by miles not the most important Player in Bayern Munich’s squad.
One would have thought that Thomas Tuchel would take a special interest in Thomas Muller’s shirt or Sadio Mane’s or Jamal Musiala or Joshua Kimmich but, it was Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s Shirt that caught his attention.
The possible reason for this is because Thomas Tuchel and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting aren’t strangers. Before Thomas Tuchel’s arrival at Bayern Munich, he has already worked with Choupo-Moting two times in the past. The duo worked together at Mainz 05 and at PSG. Now, they will get to work together again at Bayern Munich.
Thomas Tuchel’s first game as Bayern Munich’s Boss is against Borussia Dortmund at the end of the international break, in a game that will decide whether Bayern Munich will move back to the top of the German Bundesliga table or remain in the second spot.
