Bukayo Saka Becomes The Only Player To Hit A Double Figure Of Goals & Assists In The EPL This Season

England international and Nigerian-descent, Bukayo Saka has been enjoying a blistering run of form so far this season for the Mikel Arteta led Arsenal team across all competitions, most particularly displaying his top notch goal scoring prowess in their domestic top-flight league.

The 21 year old football maestro was able to replicate another incredible performance for the Gunners yesterday in their 28th league game of the current campaign, as they continue their pursuit to win first league title since 2003/04.

Bukayo Saka in the game against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium started for the host at the heart of the attacking line alongside Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, and he was able to deliver at the peak in the whole 90 minutes duration where he got directly involved in three of the four goals scored by his team courtesy of a brace of goals and a brilliant assist.

A brace from Bukayo Saka and a goal each from Gabriel Martinelli and Granit Xhaka gave the host the four goals with the visitor netting their only goal of the game from Jeffrey Schlupp in the four goals to one scoreline at full time.

Bukayo Saka with his brace of goals and a brilliant assist has now taken his league tally of the season to 12 goals and 10 assists, thereby made him the first Arsenal player to hit double figures for both goals and assists in a Premier League season since Alexis Sanchez in 2016/17.

As such, he has also became the only player to have reached a double of goals and assists in the English Premier League this season.
