Barcelona may be stripped of 4 Champions League trophies - what it means for Real Madrid

The president of Catalan Sports Court, Joan Maria Xiol, has told LaSexta that Barcelona can face sanctions as severe as losing trophies and being permanently banned from European Competitions if there is evidence of irregularities in the Negreira case which UEFA deem significant.

Since Barca paid former vice-president of the Technical Committee of Referees Jose Maria Negreira between 2001 and 2018, they could be stripped of the Champions League trophies won in 2006, 2009, 2011, and 2015.

This would leave Barca with just one Champions League trophy which they won back in 1992.

This would lead to Real Madrid having 13 more Champions League titles than our rivals. That is, of course, not to mention the potential UEFA Super Cups and FIFA Club World Cups being stripped from Barca.
