MUN 4-1 Betis: Reactions As Weghorst Scores His First Old Trafford Goal.

Manchester United hosted Spanish La Liga club Real Betis in the UEFA Europa League round of 16. The Red Devils were keen on avoiding Liverpool’s humiliations against Betis. The result was United’s worst result in a premier league match and their joint-worst result in all competitions. The Old Trafford outfit ventured into the game with the hope of bouncing back from their woeful performances against their bitter rivals.

They opened the scoring 6 minutes into the game, with Rashford firing past Bravo to grab a one-goal lead. They also created several chances after the goal but were unable to find the net. Betis equalized just a few minutes to half-time and gave the Red Devils a mountain to climb in the second half.

However, the Red Devils came out strong in the second half of the game, with Antony Santos scoring a beautiful outside-the-yard box goal to put the Old Trafford outfit in front. Bruno Fernandes made it three with a brilliant header before Wout Weghorst scored his first Old Trafford goal since he joined the team.
