Obi All Through His Campaign Presented Himself As The Candidate Of The Christian & The Church-APC

The presidential campaign council of the All Progressives Congress has taken a swipe at the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi over his statement that he will approach the court of law after his defeat at the poll.

Peter Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State, in a press conference yesterday vowed to reclaim his mandate as he promised his followers that he will challenge the results of the presidential election announced by the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission had recently announced the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the last Saturday’s presidential election.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State defeated other presidential candidates including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Reacting to Peter Obi’s statement that he will challenge the presidential results announced by INEC, the Director of Media and Publicity of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga stated that Peter Obi of the Labour Party did not win the election and couldn’t have won under any circumstances.

He added; “Mr. Obi all through his campaign presented himself as the candidate of the Christians and the Church, who wanted to help ‘take back their country” from the Nigerian Muslims”

The recent post by Bayo Onanuga on his official Facebook page has generated a lot of reactions from his fans and numerous followers on the social media platform.
