President Muhammadu Buhari has sent his apologies to Nigerians revealing that the change of the Naira notes was to boost the economy of the country and not to cause hardship. Following the release of the redesigned naira notes and the withdrawal limit that was placed, many Nigerians have been finding it difficult to access the new notes. The situation has brought hardship and difficulties among Nigerians, especially the poor mass.
He made the statement in a video clip that was shared by Uba Sani, (gubernatorial candidate of Kaduna state), on his Twitter page, apologizing to Nigerians saying that the redesigned naira notes were not meant to cause hardship but to boost the economy of the country. He apologized with all sincerity in his heart as he advised the people on who to vote for in the governorship election to make the state a better place.
