Results: Total Number Of Votes Recorded By PDP, APC, And LP From The 18 States Released So Far.

While everyone expects the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to release and upload more results from the presidential election, different reactions have been stirred across the nation over the results released so far.

Currently, the election result from eighteen (18) states (in Nigeria) has been released, and as such, each of the presidential candidates has recorded a lot of votes to their respective names. However, based on the results released so far, the All Progressive Congress’ presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is currently leading in the election.

 

As recorded by Leadership News, The Punch, and Channels TV, amongst other reputable sources, the All Progressive Congress’ presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has won the election in 6 states, while the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has won the election 7 states.

On the other hand, Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, has won 6 states to his name; however, there is a huge disparity in the total number of votes recorded so far.

Thus, based on the results released so far from 18 states in Nigeria, below are the total number of votes recorded by the top 3 presidential candidates (parties):

• APC – 5,034,646 votes

• PDP – 4,026,637 votes 

• LP – 2,597,825 votes
