As Nigerians had anticipated the Saturday polls where the presidential and national assembly election will take place, some voters had in a bid to exercise their civil rights, slept at their polling units to enable them be among the first to cast their votes for their preferred candidate.
According to Punch News who shared a video of these voters laying on the floor to sleep, some Nigerians have taken to their social media handle to express their thoughts by reacting to such display.
One particular user who commended the act by these voters noted that if one can sleep at the ATM stands to withdraw their funds, then, they can as well sleep at their polling units in order to vote for their leader.
While there were some who applauded the act, describing them as part of those serious citizens, others prayed that they should vote the right person, while adding that it is God that will give us our leader.
One will not be wrong to point out that Nigerians are however anticipating who their next leader will be for the next four years.
