In a video which surfaced online, a lady was seen as she received treatments by first aiders after she was attacked and wounded by thugs in her polling unit as she came out to vote.
However, in a photo of the lady which has surfaced online, the lady was seen as she returned to her polling unit to cast her votes, afgrt she received treatment. Some Nigerians have taken to their twitter handles to react to the courage that this lady showed in returning back to her polling unit, to ensure that her votes counts despite the attack. Reacting to the photo, a twitter user with the handle name ‘EmzieCFC’ commented, “May all these efforts not be on vain”.
Another twitter user with the handle name ‘The King’ commented, “In this election, we really need to praise our women. They have shown determination and courage for a better Nigeria. May God bless them all”.
