Victor Osimhen beats Ronaldo’s record for the highest vertical leap for a header in Serie A

 

 

In-form Super Eagles of Nigeria star Victor Osimhen has beaten Cristiano Ronaldo’s record for the highest vertical leap for a header in the Italian Serie A.

 

 

According to the stats which was released on Tuesday, Victor Osimhen’s goal over the weekend is one of the greatest headers in the Italian Serie A history. The Nigerian international reached a height of 258cm for the goal, which was better than Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous header (256cm) against Sampdoria football club in 2019.

The former LOSC Lille football club of France star has been in an astonishing form for Napoli football club in the Italian Serie A this season, and he has been able to score a lot of goals for the club in all competitions.

 

 

Osimhen has scored many headed goals for Napoli football club in the Italian Serie A this season, and his second half header against Spezia football club over the weekend is now rated as one of his best for Luciano Spalletti led team.

The former Wolfsburg football club star was able to jump through Spezia football club defenders and goalkeeper Dragowski to double his team’s lead in the 68th minute, before he scored his second goal of the game in the 73rd minute to end the match 3-0.

 

 

Victor Osimhen is currently the highest goal scorer in the Italian Serie A this season with 16 goals, and he will be looking forward to continuing his impressive performance for the club when they play their next League game this weekend.
