EPL: Why Casemiro Should Be Banned For More Than Three Games After His Violent Act

Manchester United secured a vital win in their crucial Premier League game against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

It wasn’t the best performance from Manchester United but the manager would be very pleased with the result.

Manchester United started the game on the front foot as Bruno Fernandes managed to find the back of the net from 12 yards. Things got even better for the home side when Rashford’s strike beat Crystal Palace’s goalkeeper. Crystal Palace did manage to get a goal back but it just wasn’t enough to earn them a point.

One of the talking points of the game was Casemiro’s dangerous act in the 68th minute of the game. The Brazilian midfielder was handed a red card for grabbing Hughes’ neck during a bust-up involving players from both sides.

However, I guess Casemiro should be banned for more than three games because that’s the only way to prevent such scenario in the future. If the punishment for grabbing a player’s neck is just a three-match ban, players wouldn’t mind doing that every matchweek.
