Barcelona and French attacker, Ousmane Dembele went off injured in his side’s match against Girona in the Spanish La liga in saturday with the Player looking distraught and frustrated.
Dembele has been in fine form for Barcelona in recent weeks and he expected to continue in that way before this disappointing injury which could now keep him out for weeks and ensure that he most likely misses Barcelona’s Europa league first clash against Manchester United.
Dembele is no stranger to injuries which have been a huge feature of his career. They always come at the wrong moment as seen in this case where the Player is doing well only to suffer this worrisome setback.
The injury is believed to be a thigh injury on Dembele’s left leg and he is expected to be sidelined for some weeks. Hopefully, the recovery process is quick as Barcelona will be looking towards Dembele returning to the team as fast as possible to help them out at this crucial point of the season.
