Why Victor Osimhen Is A Better Number 9 Than Erling Haaland

Victor Osimhen and Erling Haaland are both ruthless Goalscorers that have been prolific this season but, it is easier to think Erling Haaland is better than Victor Osimhen since the Norwegian National is playing in the Top-flight in England.

Since he made his Premier league debut for Manchester City, where he scored a brace against West Ham United, Erling Haaland has been literally unstoppable as he continued to smash Premier League records, becoming fastest Players to reach 10 Premier League goals in history

While Victor Osimhen has scored 12 goals in 14 Serie A matches this season and he’s leading the Naples to their First ever League title since 1990, Erling Haaland has already scored 21 League goals in just 17 games but, it gets tougher for him because he hasn’t scored in his last 4 appearances for Manchester City and that’s his longest goal drought since he signed for the Citizens.

No one can deny Erling Haaland’s ability to shoot the ball into the net, He probably can do it with his eyes closed but the Former Borussia Dortmund Forward could be a liability at times on the pitch because he’s a goal poacher.

He could goes on the pitch without touching the ball for more than 20 minutes because he is waiting for services from Phil Foden or Kevin De Bruyne.

This is different for Victor Osimhen as the Nigeria Forward gets involved in the team. Apart from the fact that he doesn’t have the support system that Haaland has at Manchester City, he can go solo and his work rate is impressive.

Haaland can have a quiet game, just like he did against Manchester United in the Manchester Derby on Saturday, if he doesn’t receive the ball but Osimhen works for it. He has the ability to make something out of nothing.
