The opposition People’s Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has got many people talking since yesterday after he suffered a gaffe while addressing the large crowd of supporters during his presidential campaign rally held at Lokoja Kogi State which has since then garnered and stirred several mixed reactions hitherto.

The PDP Presidential Campaign Rally was held yesterday at the City’s Confluence Stadium as scheduled shortly after Alhaji Atiku Abubakar made his return to the country following an official engagement in the United Kingdom ahead of the February 25th poll.

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was given a warm and heroic welcome by large number of supporters who were in attendance to profess their trust and believe in his candidacy on a mission to recover Nigeria, which as such made it an eventful occasion.

He met with the good people of the State where he shared some of the party manifestos and what he has in plan for them with some of his promises openly made while giving his speech to canvass vote from the electorates.

However, there was a side attraction while trying to wrap up his speech as he was heard to have urged the people to please vote for the ruling party All Progressives Congress before he immediately corrected himself by mentioning the People’s Democratic Party.

This has got many talking until this time as it has been the tradition of most politicians cross-carpeting from one political party to another which was the case for the former Vice President of Nigeria, who was once a member of the ruling party All Progressives Congress.
