“I remember when people said that Real Madridsigned the starting centre-back from Chelsea[Rudiger] and we signed the substitute one [Christensen],” Xavi has told the media, via Defensa Central.

Andreas Christensen is having a stellar season with Barcelona while Antonio Rudiger is yet to become a real star at Real Madrid.

Both players joined their respective clubs as free agents. Rudiger, however, played a much bigger role at Chelsea than Christensen.
