Final Serie A Table After Sunday’s Results As Roma Move Within 3 Points Of The Top 4

Last night, Roma rallied from two goals down in the deciding match between AC Milan and Roma to prevent Milan a perfect score in the final five minutes despite failing to record a shot on goal earlier in the game. The champions simply lost concentration at the wrong time, and this carelessness may ultimately damage their title defense, even though Serie A has not yet reached halfway. Mourinho missed his team’s stunning comeback as they tied Lazio on points because of his suspension.

However, Roma are now within three points of fourth-placed Inter Milan. League leaders Napoli had a comfortable 2-0 victory at Sampdoria to extend their lead at the top to 7 points over Juventus in second.

Just like Roma, Lazio are also 3 points off the top 4 after their emphatic 2-2 draw against Empoli, while Sampdoria remain in the relegation zone after their 1-1 draw with 10th-placed Torino.
