Tinubu Opens Up On Alleged Secret London Meeting With G5 Governors

The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, has opened up on the alleged working pact between him and the aggrieved governors on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Governors Nyesom Wike, Samuel Ortom, Seyi Makinde, Okezie Ikpeazu, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, had reportedly held a meeting with Tinubu, to make their demands before backing the former Lagos governor for Presidency. According to unconfirmed reports, Wike and his allies had demanded that Tinubu promises to allow their Candidates to win in the coming election.

Wike, on arrival from London, however denied reaching an arrangement with the former Lagos governor. He reiterated that he would not hide any arrangement from the general public.

Meanwhile, Tinubu, through his media aide, Tunde Rahman, also confirmed what the Rivers governor had said about the purported working pact. He revealed that Tinubu actually travelled to London, but left for Saudi Arabia after some days. According to him, the reports that Tinubu reached an agreement with the governors, were evil intentioned.
