France national team striker, Kylian Mbappe, on Tuesday put aside his country’s World Cup loss to Argentina to celebrate his 24th birthday and also used the opportunity to thank his fans who sent birthday congratulatory messages to him.
Mbappe scored a hat trick during the energy sapping final match of the World Cup held last Sunday in Qatar against Argentina which ended in 3-3 draw, with Argentina eventually winning the match through penalty kick.
However, Mbappe won the Golden Boot award as the highest goal scorer in the competition with eight goals while his country lost the opportunity to win the World Cup for the third time, having won it in 1998 and 2018.
However, three days after the conclusion of the competition, Mbappe on Tuesday put aside the loss of the World Cup and celebrated his 24th birthday.

He posted the photograph of him with his birthday cake on his Twitter handle and wrote in French which, when translated into English Language means “Thank you all for your messages.”
He used the occasion to express his gratitude for the many messages congratulating him on his birthday.
