It could be recalled that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, yesterday, in a pre-recorded interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), explained how he made his money, which he later disclosed that people envy him a lot just because he made his money from real estate and as a result, he’s rich.
However, while reacting to Bola Tinubu’s statement, Dr. Reuben Abati stated that it is bad for people to envy the former Lagos governor, adding that he is a very lucky man, because he has been a governor, he’s a godfather and role model to many politicians in Nigeria.
While speaking this morning, Reuben Abati said, “The third point that Asiwaju made was that people are envious of him.” Okay, well, I think it is okay for people to envy you. He’s a very lucky man; he has been a governor, he’s been a godfather; there are some other persons who have not enjoyed those privileges. He also says he’s been attacked because he’s a front runner, well, that’s to know his shoe.”
