2023: APC breaks fundraising record as Nigerians donate over N190m to support Tinubu’s presidential bid in less than two minutes

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has broken a fundraising record in the annals of politics in the country.

The APC presidential campaign council, on Tuesday, November 29, unveiled a crowdfunding app for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

The ruling party, in less than two minutes, also raised over N190 million

Considering that no individual can donate more than N50 million to a political party, this is a big boost for the ruling party.

This demonstrates that Nigerians believe in the ability of the APC presidential candidate and his running mate to make Nigeria better.

Recall that some south east businessmen recently donated the sum of N1 billion to support the presidential bid of Tinubu.

While the Labour Party (LP) celebrated raising N10 million in 24 hours, the APC, which the opposition claims Nigerians are sick of, was able to raise 192 million in a matter of minutes.

It is obvious that the APC has been accepted by Nigerians ahead of the 2023 general elections, and of a truth, Nigerians have taken affirmative actions which has dwarfed the voices of other political parties.
