Jamal Musiala was highly impressive in performance during Germany’s 1-1 draw against Spain in the World Cup. Spain were unable to get past Germany after fullkrug netted an equalizing goal for his side.
Gavi and Pedri started against Germany but the two players struggled to perform well during the match. Jamal Musiala on the other hand was arguably the best player on the pitch.
Germany suffered a 2-1 loss to Japan in their World Cup opener and it was an humiliating defeat for the team. They were expected to secure a win in their match against Spain but they struggled to find the back of the net.
Alvaro Morata scored the first goal of the match after replacing Ferran Torres at half-time. Fullkrug also came in as half-time substitute and managed to find the back of the net in the 82nd minute, he was assisted by Jamal Musiala.
Jamal Musiala completed nine successful dribbles which is the highest figure of the tournament so far and provided an assist for Fullkrug in the late minutes. Pedri and Gavi couldn’t make any impact to the game and Gavi was subbed off at half-time minutes.
Germany have now kept their World Cup hopes alive and they will advance to the knockout stages if they manage to defeat Costa Rica.
