I Was A Village Boy From Jigawa State When BAT Gave Me The Gubernatorial Ticket In 2011—Gov Badaru

The Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammed Badaru, recalled on Thursday how former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu, helped create the All Progressives Congress (APC), the party under which he became governor, and how he helped him get the gubernatorial ticket during the 2011 election.

He made the revelation during the APC campaign rally in Ebonyi State and revealed that he was a village boy from Jigawa before the APC presidential candidate helped him.

According to him, “Let me tell you about myself.” I was a village boy from Jigawa. I was given a gubernatorial ticket by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2011 election.”

However, he praised the Governor of Ebonyi State, David Nweze Umahi, for the various things he did for the people of the state, and while he was about to conclude his statement, he started coughing repeatedly and was forced to end the statement.
