UAE 0-5 ARG: Check Out Lionel Messi’s World Cup Boots Which He Displayed During Argentina’s 5-0 Win.


Argentina rounded off their pre-World Cup preparations with a resounding 5-0 win over United Arab Emirates at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.


The Albicelestes’ coach Lionel Scaloni started some of his key players like Messi and Di Maria for today’s friendly, with Man City’s Julian Alvarez also getting the nod over Lautaro Martinez.


Messi and Alvarez combined for Argentina’s first goal of the match in the 17th minute when the PSG ace squared the ball for his teammate to score.

Di Maria doubled Argentina’s lead shortly after with a stunning left-footed volley and went on to grab a brace in the 36th minute when he dribbled his way through UAE’s defense to make it 3-nil.





And just before halftime, Messi who recorded his 50th international hat-trick earlier on found the back of the net with his weaker right foot to take his international tally to 91 goals.


Messi also unveiled his new signature World Cup Boots which he will be wearing in Qatar, with the playmaker hoping to finally win the one trophy that evades him.

Correa rounded off the scoring for Argentina in the second half to ensure Argentina will be going into this year’s World Cup on the back of a 36-match unbeaten run.
