Fans React After United Removed A Mural Containing Ronaldo’s Picture From Old Trafford

According to reports, Manchester United have taken another drastic action against Cristiano Ronaldo following his recent controversial interview with Piers Morgan. In the early hours of today, the club removed a mural containing the image of the Portuguese star from Old Trafford.

There is no doubt Ronaldo’s remark about the club’s policy didn’t sit well with the authorities. Though, no legal action has been taken against the Portuguese star but the club is silently disassociating itself from him without hesitation.

Fans were quick to react after United removed a mural containing Ronaldo’s picture from Old Trafford. Some fans believe the action against the player is unfair while others wasted no time to praise the club for their bold move. Check out what fans tweeted after a mural containing Ronaldo’s image was removed from the club’s stadium:

The recent development proves that Cristiano Ronaldo’s days at Manchester United are numbered. Though, the Portuguese forward had submitted a transfer request to the club earlier this summer – an action that shows he’s no longer interested playing the club.

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, didn’t allow Ronaldo leave the club last summer as he claimed the veteran attacker is a part of his plan.

However, Ronaldo’s recent interview with Piers Morgan seems to be his last straw at Manchester United. There is every indication that the club would be willing to cut ties with him in January.
