“A Kid Born In A Refugee Camp Wasn’t Supposed To Make It But He Is Going To World Cup” – Alphonso Davies Says

Most of us are quite familiar with the name Alphonso Davies, a 22 years old Canadian player who was born in a refugee camp in Ghana 22 years ago to his Liberian parents.

He took to his social media account on Instagram to write heartfelt messages about his origin and it’s obvious that he hasn’t forgotten anything about his past. He writes saying a kid born in a refugee camp wasn’t supposed to make it but here he is that he will be representing Canada in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He added that no one should allow anyone to tell them that their dreams are unrealistic because no one should stop dreaming. After all, this is the only way to achieve these dreams.

Although Alphonso Davies will not be representing Ghana in World Cup he has a past to always remember in the country and he has already achieved a lot of things as a 22 years old footballer all this was a dream that was hard to achieve when he was young.
